Mountbatten Summer Drinks Raises More Than £16,000

More than £16,000 has been raised for Mountbatten Isle of Wight at its annual Summer Drinks event.

The evening at Barton Manor in East Cowes, sponsored by BCM Wilson Hill, raised a total of £16,652.52.

Guests enjoyed drinks, food and a raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses and supporters.

The money will help fund Mountbatten’s 24-hour end-of-life care and bereavement support for Islanders and their families.

Mountbatten says 85 per cent of its care is delivered in people’s homes and through its community services.

The charity has thanked everyone who attended, donated and supported the event.
