Motorcycle Crash Causes Major Delays On Fairlee Road Diversion Route

A motorcycle crash on the main Fairlee Road diversion route is continuing to cause significant delays this morning (Monday).

Police and paramedics have attended the scene on Whiterails Road following a collision involving a motorcycle near Butterfly World.

It is not yet clear if any other vehicles were involved.

Traffic is reported as being heavily affected in both directions, towards Newport and Wootton, with long delays reported.

Drivers are being advised to avoid the area where possible while emergency services deal with the incident.
