Motorcycle And Car Crash Causes Delays In Lake

Motorists are facing delays on Newport Road after a collision involving a motorcycle and a car at the Morrisons roundabout in Lake.

Emergency services were called shortly before 1.25pm today (Friday).

An ambulance crew, rapid response paramedic and operational commander from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are at the scene.

Traffic is backing up in both directions, with particularly long queues for drivers travelling from Newport towards Lake.

It's the second collision at a roundabout in the area today, following a crash involving two vehicles at Apse Heath earlier this morning.
