Brading came together in a big way last weekend to support men’s mental health, as Mindset Bros CIC hosted a 24-hour charity car valeting challenge at The Yarbridge Inn.

Running from 4pm on Friday 26 September through to Saturday evening, the fundraiser raised an impressive £5,150 to help the Isle of Wight charity continue its vital work.

Cars arrived around the clock, with every 30-minute slot snapped up by local residents keen to back the cause.

Visitors enjoyed live music, bought merchandise, and joined the movement to break down the stigma surrounding men’s mental health.

Special praise went to volunteers Rich Fox, Ben Vineer, and Charlie Harris, whose organisation and determination helped keep the 24-hour marathon running smoothly.

The event was further supported by the expertise of Harris Detailing and BRV Detailing, the generosity of The Yarbridge Inn, and Dodo Juice, whose products kept every car sparkling.

Founder Ross Taylor said:

“We are humbled by the turnout and generosity shown by the community.
"£5,150 is an incredible amount to raise in just 24 hours, and it will go directly towards initiatives that make a difference for men struggling in silence.”

Mindset Bros CIC continues to focus on creating safe spaces, raising awareness, and offering support for men across the island.

The funds from this event will help fuel future campaigns, events, and community outreach.
