Man Charged After Burglary At Newport Pharmacy

Police investigating a burglary at Day Lewis Pharmacy on Newport High Street have charged a man in connection with the incident.

The break-in happened in the early hours of Thursday (11 September).

Reece James Chilcott, 34, of no fixed address, appeared before Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (13 September).

He pleaded guilty to burglary other than dwelling and possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.

Chilcott has been bailed and is due to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Tuesday).
