Man Arrested Following Vehicle Stop In Wootton

A man has been arrested following a vehicle stop on High Street in Wootton.

Police stopped a vehicle shortly after midday on Saturday, 13 December.

A 48-year-old man from Cowes was arrested on suspicion of acquiring, using or possessing criminal property, possession of a Class A drug, and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the legal limit.

He has since been released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out.
