Man Arrested After Window Smashed at Ryde Pharmacy

Police are investigating after a window was smashed at Boots Pharmacy in Ryde earlier this week.
Officers were called to the store at around 6.48pm on Monday (27 October) following reports of an alarm being activated.
On arrival, police discovered a smashed side window and a large rock nearby. Inside, a number of empty prescription boxes were found.
A 57-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of burglary and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Police are urging anyone offered prescription medication not obtained from a pharmacy to call 101, quoting incident number 44250486768.
