Man Arrested After Suspected Class A Drugs Seized In Sandown

A man has been arrested after suspected Class A drugs were seized during a warrant in Sandown.
Officers from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary carried out a warrant at an address on Fort Street at around 17:30 yesterday (Thursday 12 March).
During the search, officers seized suspected Class A drugs.
A 45-year-old man from Sandown was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled drug.
He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
