Lifeline has announced a new period of growth and expansion, driven by increasing demand for locally based, community-focused fire and security services across the Isle of Wight.

The growth includes the creation of three new jobs and investment in infrastructure, adding to the company’s existing 23-strong Island-based team and facilities at its dedicated Security Centre on Riverway, Newport.

As the Island’s businesses and cross-Solent transport landscape continue to evolve, many homeowners and organisations are seeking reassurance that their fire and security systems are supported by a local, dedicated team.

Accessibility, a broader range of services, and specialist support are all key factors driving this shift, alongside recent changes in the local provider market, ferry disruption, and rising costs.

Managing Director Mark Lee said:

“We are incredibly proud to be the Isle of Wight’s local fire and security specialists.
"As our community grows and changes, so does the need for reliable support delivered by people who genuinely care about the Island.
“We’re proud of the customers we already serve and excited to welcome new customers on board, reflecting our long-standing commitment to fire and security, service, and local expertise.”

In recent weeks, the company has seen a notable increase in enquiries, with many new customers choosing to transfer their maintenance, monitoring, support, and compliance needs to Lifeline.

The move reflects a desire for greater stability, continuity of care, and a provider with strong local knowledge and presence.

Established for more than 35 years, Lifeline remains the only Island-based provider with NSI Gold and BAFE third-party accreditation, offering independent verification of high technical competence and quality standards in both security and fire safety.

The company has also received multiple industry awards, including the National Security & Fire Excellence Award.
