Key Dates Confirmed For Isle Of Wight Council Elections

Key dates have been confirmed ahead of the Isle of Wight Council elections on May 7.
County Hall says the full list of candidates will be published as soon as possible after nominations close at 4pm on April 9.
The results of the first Island-wide elections since 2021 will be announced from early afternoon on May 8 at the Medina Leisure Centre.
Polling cards outlining voting arrangements are set to be delivered from Monday, March 23. Residents have until Monday, April 20 to register to vote.
Applications for postal votes must be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday, April 21, while the deadline for proxy vote applications is 5pm on Tuesday, April 28.
Voters heading to polling stations will need to bring valid photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence, in order to cast their vote.
