Sydenhams Timber Engineering is celebrating its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter-century of designing and supplying timber frame structures from its Isle of Wight engineering centre.
Since opening in 2000, the company has delivered timber solutions for over 4,000 buildings across the UK, including housing developments, schools, hospital extensions, hotels, and self-build homes.
Based at the Isle of Wight Engineering Centre with a manufacturing facility in Wickham, Sydenhams offers a full service from structural design through to precision manufacturing and delivery.
Managing Director Dean Orchard said:
“Reaching 25 years is a real milestone.
"None of this would have been possible without the commitment, skill and integrity of our team, or the partners who have worked alongside us to bring sustainable buildings to life.
"The future of construction is low carbon, and timber frame will play a huge part in that transition.”
The company has also led innovation in recent years, developing the Biogenic Twin Wall System, a low-carbon timber solution combining performance, sustainability and design flexibility.
Part of the wider Sydenhams Group, the business is well placed to deliver large-scale projects while continuing to champion sustainable construction – from its Island roots to projects across the UK.
