Isle of Wight rapper Fugo Kid has released his latest EP, which explores personal themes set to a hip-hop and jazz backing.

UFOs is available to stream now and was created to truly represent the Island rapper, whose real name is Jack Portuito.

Among the four songs on Fugo Kid’s latest release is dopamine, which premiered on BBC Radio Solent’s Introducing show earlier this week.

UFOs also features guest appearances from local musicians Jack Jordan and Rhiannon Maia, as well as a voiceover from Maya Young, who opens and closes the EP.

Speaking about the release, Fugo Kid said:

“I’m really excited to finally release UFOs after months of planning. I can’t wait to show people this new step forward in my music.”

On Saturday, April 11, Fugo Kid will take to the stage at Triple A Records in Newport as an official launch for UFOs.

The performance will mark his first with a full backing band.
