Isle of Wight Pearl has appointed Mark Wyatt as the new Head Chef at its recently revamped Pearl Café, marking a fresh direction for the popular Island venue.
The café says the move will focus on fine-dining quality food designed for everyday enjoyment, alongside views overlooking one of the Isle of Wight’s most well-known coastal locations.
A newly refreshed menu has been introduced, along with a series of weekday food offers aimed at making chef-led dishes more accessible.
These include two main meals for £20 on Mondays, half-price brunch on Thursdays, a free glass of wine on Wednesdays, and kids eating for £1 on Tuesdays.
Mark Wyatt is a classically trained chef with experience leading kitchens awarded two AA Rosettes and a Michelin Bib Gourmand.
He began his career in North Yorkshire before spending three years at The Savoy Hotel in London, where he developed his approach to ingredient-led cooking.

Since joining the Pearl Café, Mark has overhauled the menu, reworking familiar favourites with a fine-dining influence.
New dishes include gourmet hash browns, fresh crab cakes, beef with Guinness and dumplings, and beer-battered fish and chips with homemade tartare sauce.
Speaking about his appointment, Mark said his aim is to elevate the café experience while keeping its relaxed, welcoming Island feel.
Looking ahead, the Pearl Café plans to introduce seasonal specials, redeveloped afternoon teas, and a new events space, with the goal of becoming a wider social hub for Island residents and visitors.
The café is open seven days a week and offers free parking, wheelchair access, indoor and outdoor seating, and is dog-friendly.
