Charities and community groups on the Isle of Wight are being invited to apply for grants from the Island Roads’ Isle of Wight Foundation.
Since 2014, the foundation – made up of Ringway Island Roads, Island Roads Services, Vinci Concessions and Meridiam – has awarded grants of between £3,000 and £16,000 to projects that help build stronger communities or support access to housing and employment. So far, almost £910,000 has been awarded to Island causes.
At the end of 2025, nine projects shared nearly £90,000, including Age UK IW, Cowes Sailability, Arreton Cricket Club, Havenstreet Community Association, and Isle of Wight Search & Rescue.
Applications for 2026 funding are open until 4 May.
Groups applying for the first time, or previous applicants, are welcome to submit projects that meet the foundation’s criteria.
Foundation Chairman Eddie Fellows said:
“We are delighted to continue supporting organisations that reduce social exclusion and strengthen community connections across the Island.
"We encourage all community-interest and not-for-profit groups to apply for the next round of funding.”
