The Isle of Wight College is celebrating the achievements of its T Level students today (Thursday) as they receive their results.
T Levels – introduced at the college in 2022 – are equivalent to three A Levels and combine classroom learning with substantial industry placements, giving students real-world experience alongside academic study.
This year’s students have excelled in a variety of subjects including Health, Media, Engineering, Business Management, Childcare, Building Services, Digital and Animal Care.

Many have already secured university places, apprenticeships, or skilled jobs.
Among them is Christian Rogers, who achieved a merit in Management and Administration. He’s returning to the college to study higher education with plans to complete a degree in the future. He said:
“I’ve really enjoyed my T Level, particularly the work placement.”
Shona Stanton achieved a distinction in Childcare and will now move straight into full-time employment. She said:
“The course was a bit of a struggle to start with but my tutor and my work placement were very supportive so I made it through to the end.”
College principal Ros Parker praised the cohort, saying:
“We are incredibly proud of our T Level students.
"These are immensely valuable qualifications that combine academic excellence with hands-on industry experience.
"Our students have risen to the challenge with exceptional enthusiasm and commitment.”
The college is expanding its T Level offering in September with a new course in Marketing. Applications for September 2025 are still open via iwcollege.ac.uk.
