Isle Of Wight Care Home Celebrates International Women’s Day With Music And Community

Residents, staff, families, and volunteers at Newport's Orchard House care home came together for a special International Women’s Day celebration at the weekend, enjoying an afternoon filled with music, conversation, and community spirit.

The event featured a live performance by Paulo, who entertained attendees with a selection of beloved songs, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere.

Many residents joined in, singing along and enjoying the joyful occasion.

The celebration honoured not only the home’s female residents, but also the vital contributions of women across the wider community, including staff, volunteers, and relatives.
