Island Windows Gains Safe Contractor Accreditation

Sandown-based Island Windows has been awarded Safe Contractor accreditation, recognising its commitment to high standards of health and safety.

The certification is awarded to businesses that demonstrate robust health and safety management and is widely recognised by organisations across the UK when selecting contractors.

Island Windows, which employs 24 people, supplies and installs double glazing, doors and conservatories across the Isle of Wight, as well as providing window and door repair services.

The company says gaining the accreditation reflects its continued investment in safe working practices and will help strengthen opportunities to secure commercial contracts.

Owner Dominic Winram said the award marked an important milestone for the business and reinforced its commitment to protecting employees, customers and the properties it works in.

Island Windows says it will continue investing in training, compliance and customer service as it builds on the accreditation.
