An Isle of Wight business has launched a new tea blend inspired by the Island’s coastal heritage and designed to celebrate its local roots.
The Island Tea & Coffee Co has unveiled its new Wight Isle Coastal Blend Tea — an exclusive blend developed on the Isle of Wight and packaged in branding inspired by the Island flag.
Created to deliver a smooth and balanced flavour, the tea has been designed to combine strength and brightness with a clean, refreshing finish.
Each tea bag is hand-packed on the Island, with the company saying the blend has been developed to provide consistent quality and everyday drinkability.
Jon Carter, Managing Director of The Island Tea & Coffee Co, said:
“We’ve spent a long time getting this tea just right, like we did with our coffee.
“It’s smooth, full of flavour, and designed to be enjoyed whether it’s your first cup of the day or your fifth.
"It fits perfectly with what we do here on the Isle of Wight, and we’re really excited to finally share it.”
The new blend launches ahead of the Island’s busy tourism season and will be available in a range of pack sizes aimed at both households and the hospitality sector.
The company says the tea has been created as a distinctive Isle of Wight product for residents, visitors and local businesses, complementing its existing coffee range produced at its Rookley roastery.
