Hundreds Gather For Sunny Teddy Bear's Picnic At Dover Park Primary

The grounds of Dover Park Primary School were transformed into a sea of picnic blankets and teddy bears as families gathered for the school's second annual Teddy Bear's Picnic.

Parents, grandparents, carers, siblings and friends were invited to join pupils for a picnic lunch on the main school field, with glorious sunshine providing the perfect backdrop for the community event.

The popular gathering saw families spending time together in a relaxed atmosphere as the school celebrated the final half-term of the academic year.

Headteacher Jon Kirby said the event showcased the close-knit nature of the school community.

"It was lovely to see so many families joining their children on the field.

"The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed and enjoyable.

"Events like this highlight the strength of our school community and the way we come together as one big family."

With warm weather throughout the afternoon, pupils and their families enjoyed the opportunity to socialise, celebrate and create lasting memories together before the summer holidays.
