More than 400 people gathered at Northwood House last month for a day dedicated to health, wellbeing and community connection.

The MIND. BODY. SOUL event, organised by Spirivo Ltd, took place on Saturday 21st February and attracted visitors from across the Isle of Wight as well as the mainland.

Throughout the day, attendees were able to take part in a wide range of activities focused on holistic health and alternative wellbeing practices.

These included 18 free indoor workshops, three guided wellbeing walks, a mindful art drop-in session, and a dedicated “Wisdom Hour” where practitioners shared insights and advice.

The event also featured 33 stalls offering everything from boutique wellness products to information stands providing health and wellbeing guidance.

Visitors could also try low-cost taster treatments such as massage, reiki and aura readings, while free sauna sessions were available throughout the day.

Organisers say the aim of the event was to showcase a wide range of approaches to wellbeing and give visitors the opportunity to explore practices that suited them personally.

Ella Rowlinson said the response from attendees had been extremely positive.

She said:

“The response to MIND. BODY. SOUL has been incredible.
"Seeing so many people come together with open minds and open hearts was truly powerful.
"Our hope was that each person would leave having discovered something meaningful to support their wellbeing, and the feedback suggests that’s exactly what happened.”

The event was supported by cross-Solent ferry operator Red Funnel, helping make travel easier for visitors coming from the mainland.

Organisers say the strong turnout has encouraged them to start planning future wellbeing events on the Island.
