Hovertravel has opened bookings for a new series of summer crossings between the Isle of Wight and Lee-on-the-Solent.
The special services will give Islanders and visitors the opportunity to travel across the Solent in around 15 minutes and explore attractions along the Hampshire coast.
Flights will operate on selected dates throughout the summer, with crossings scheduled for 28th June, 22nd August and 5th September.
Passengers will be able to visit Lee-on-the-Solent's seafront, cafés and restaurants, as well as nearby attractions including the Hovercraft Museum, which houses the world's largest collection of hovercraft.
Other destinations highlighted by Hovertravel include Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve and Café at Zero 5, which overlooks Solent Airport's runway.
As part of the new service, Hovertravel customers will also be able to claim a 20 per cent discount on food at On The Water Restaurant and Bar by presenting a valid hovercraft ticket.
The operator says the new crossings are aimed at providing a unique day-trip experience while showcasing hovercraft travel and attractions on both sides of the Solent.
Spaces are limited and bookings are now available through Hovertravel's website.
