Hovertravel has launched a new discounted travel pass aimed at teachers and other public sector professionals who regularly commute between the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth.
The new Triple Term Flyer is valid across three school terms, covering 1 September to 18 December 2026, 4 January to 25 March 2027, and 12 April to 28 July 2027.
As well as education staff, the ticket is available to eligible NHS workers, police officers, firefighters and other qualifying public sector employees.
The launch follows Hovertravel's recent fare restructuring, which introduced a simplified range of ticket options designed to offer better value for regular travellers.
Loretta Lale, Head of Marketing at Hovertravel, said:
"Teachers play a vital role in society, and it's important that their dedication is recognised in tangible ways.
"Our new Triple Term Flyer has been created to provide exceptional value for those working in education, while also supporting the many public sector professionals who rely on our service throughout the year.
"Following the positive response to our recent fare restructuring, we're delighted to introduce another product that delivers greater choice, flexibility and affordability for our customers."
Hovertravel says commuters who only need to travel occasionally outside term time can combine the new pass with its Professional & Education Flexi 10 ticket.
Further information about the Triple Term Flyer and Hovertravel's Professional & Education ticket range is available from Hovertravel's website or at its Ryde and Southsea terminals.
