Hovertravel And Celebrity Chef Launch Travel And Dining Deal In Ryde

Hovertravel has teamed up with celebrity chef Robert Thompson MBE and his RTCafé Grill in Ryde to launch a new combined travel and dining ticket.

The limited-time offer pairs a hovercraft day return crossing with a two-course set lunch at RTCafé Grill, located at Royal Maritime House overlooking the Solent.

The deal is available Thursday to Saturday between 12pm and 5pm, running until 31 March.

Julie Horrocks, Head of Sales Development at Hovertravel, said the partnership brings together two standout Isle of Wight experiences.

She said combining hovercraft travel with high-quality dining creates a memorable day out and gives visitors another reason to explore the South Coast.

The offer is priced at £59 for adults and £56 for seniors, with optional upgrades including snacks to share or desserts for a small additional cost.

RTCafé Grill serves a relaxed British and European menu inspired by local produce and Robert Thompson’s own culinary background.

Diners can expect a choice of carefully prepared starters and mains showcasing seasonal ingredients, with indulgent desserts also available.
