Gala Weekend To Bring Activities And Entertainment In Aid Of Ability Dogs

Ability Dogs 4 Young People is delighted to bring back its popular Gala Weekend on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June 2025, from 10am to 4pm, at the Charity’s Training Centre at Sandown Airport.

The two-day event is the charity’s biggest of the year and promises more stalls, entertainment, and chances to meet volunteers and puppies in training. Entry and parking are free, and the site is accessible by both road and public transport.

Funds raised will support the charity’s work helping disabled people across the Island by providing trained Ability Dogs without financial burden.

The weekend will feature demonstrations, family-friendly activities, a Fun Dog Show on both days, handmade crafts, classic cars, and plenty of food and drink options.

Kids can enjoy a calm creative zone, and the much-loved ‘Hunt the Boneo’ returns.
