Eligible Islanders can now book their autumn and winter flu and COVID-19 vaccinations at St Mary’s Vaccination Centre.

The centre will reopen from 1st October, offering flu vaccinations to people aged over 65 and their carers or close contacts, while COVID-19 vaccinations will be available to those aged over 75.

People aged over 18 with severe immunosuppression can receive both vaccinations, with separate clinics available for immunosuppressed babies, children and young people.

Appointments can be booked through the NHS National Booking Service, by calling 119 or through the NHS App. A walk-in service will also operate, although people with appointments will be prioritised.

The centre will open from 08:00 until 14:00, Monday to Thursday, between 1st and 15th October.

From 19th October until 17th December, clinics will run on Mondays and Wednesdays during the same hours.

Anyone unsure about their eligibility can contact the NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight vaccination helpline on 0300 561 0018.
