Five Degrees North Announce Farewell Isle Of Wight Show

Isle of Wight rock band Five Degrees North will play a farewell gig on the Island before heading to Brighton for university.

The show, Beyond the Beginning, takes place at Strings Bar and Venue in Newport on Wednesday, August 27, with support from rock group Anatomy and Isle of Wight rapper Fugo Kid, who recently released his debut EP.

Band members Will Morrison, Mike Fuller, and Louis ‘Linguini’ Marshall are all set to study music performance at WaterBear College of Music in Brighton.

Reflecting on their journey, the band said:

"These last few years have been absolutely crazy for us. Playing in front of our hometown has been incredible. Fear not – we’ll be carrying on as normal, just in a new location!"

Influenced by The Amazons and Royal Blood, Five Degrees North have built a strong local following, winning Wight Noize, performing on the Isle of Wight Festival main stage, and appearing on BBC Introducing South.
