Fireworks Cruises Return For Cowes Week Celebrations

Red Funnel has announced the return of its Cowes Week Fireworks Cruises, giving passengers the chance to watch this summer's display from the Solent.

The special sailings will take place on Friday 7 August during the 200th Cowes Week regatta, offering uninterrupted views of the 9.30pm fireworks away from the crowds on shore.

The three-hour cruises will feature live entertainment, hot food and fully licensed bars serving a range of drinks throughout the evening.

Passengers can also upgrade to the Signature Lounge experience, which includes a welcome drink, complimentary refreshments, sweet and savoury snacks, access to a private lounge with panoramic views and an exclusive top deck viewing area.

Red Funnel's Commercial Director, Lee Hudson, said the milestone anniversary of Cowes Week would make this year's event even more special, with the cruises offering a memorable way to enjoy the fireworks from the water.

Sailings depart from both Southampton and East Cowes at 8.30pm, returning at around 11pm.

Tickets are on sale now, with adult fares starting from £35 from East Cowes and £45 from Southampton. Limited onboard parking can also be booked in advance.
