Fire Crews Called To Blaze On Outskirts Of Newport

Firefighters have responded to a fire on the outskirts of Newport this evening (Monday).


Two fire appliances were called to an address just off Long Lane at around 6:20pm.


Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets, drawing water from a nearby hydrant, to tackle the blaze.


The cause of the fire is not yet known.
