Emergency Services Attend Car And Motorcycle Collision Near Ryde

Emergency services were called to a collision involving a car and a motorcycle on the southern outskirts of Ryde on Wednesday evening.

The incident was reported at approximately 6.20pm, at the junction of Ashey Road and Green Lane in Ashey.

In a statement, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary confirmed the collision involved a car and a motorbike left the motorcyclist with minor injuries.

The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service attended the scene, where paramedics treated the injured biker.

One fire appliance from Ryde was also in attendance, alongside police officers.
