East Cowes Carnival Royalty Announced After Fantastic Afternoon

A fantastic afternoon has been enjoyed at the East Cowes Carnival Royalty Selection event.

More than 40 people attended, creating a lively atmosphere filled with support and community spirit.

Friends, family and supporters gathered to cheer on a talented group of young participants, all of whom showed confidence, personality and pride throughout.

Judges were left with a tough decision.

After much deliberation, this year’s East Cowes Carnival Royalty and team have been revealed:

• Senior Queen – Lily

• Junior Queen – Danielle

• Senior Princesses – Abby and Demi

• Junior Princesses – Ayia and Brooklyn

• Reserves – Emily and Hannah

• Team Members – Brooke and Paige

• Flag Bearer – Harley

Each will play an important role over the coming year, attending events, supporting the community and representing East Cowes Carnival.

Organisers have praised everyone who took part, saying all participants should feel proud of their efforts, with the event highlighting the strong sense of community and talent in East Cowes.

Thanks have also been given to the East Cowes Liberal Club for hosting, DJ Mike Harris, as well as the families, volunteers and judges who helped make the event a success.

The East Cowes Carnival Committee is also reminding residents to save the date for this year’s carnival on 22 August, which promises to be a highlight of the summer.

Organisers say they are looking forward to seeing the new Royalty and team out and about, and to an exciting carnival season ahead.
