Discovery Of Body In Isle Of Wight Waters Not Being Treated As Suspicious

The discovery of a body in the sea earlier this week is not being treated as suspicious.
Police were called at 5.50pm on Wednesday 23 July following the discovery of a man’s body in the water near The Needles, Isle of Wight.
The body, believed to be that of a 63-year-old man from Bournemouth, was brought ashore via Yarmouth Pier.
The man’s next of kin has been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and the Coroner has been notified.
