Death Of Man Confirmed Following Yacht Injury

A man has been pronounced dead after becoming injured on board a yacht whilst sailing out on the Solent on Tuesday (August 5).

A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary confirmed:

"It has been confirmed that a man in his 70s died after sustaining an injury on board a yacht off the Isle of Wight.

"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding his death."
