Aspiring performers from across the Isle of Wight are being invited to take part in ‘The Island’s Got Talent’, a brand-new showcase event ahead of this year’s Cowes Fringe Festival.
The auditions will take place at East Cowes Town Hall on Sunday 1st March 2026, and are open to anyone aged 8 and above.
Organisers are welcoming singers, musicians, bands, comedians and performers of all kinds, offering a fun and supportive platform for Island talent.
A panel of well-known local judges — Nigel Hartley MBE, Rob da Bank, Hannah Brear and DJ JAMRoKi — will be selecting standout acts.
One lucky performer from the day will earn a place in the main Cowes Fringe programme, appearing at the Mountbatten Gala Night in May.
Audience entry to the daytime event is free, with refreshments available.
Performer entry costs £5 for solo acts and £10 for groups of four or more, with applications closing on 31st January 2026.
Successful applicants will be contacted in February with their audition time, and children must be accompanied by an adult on the day.
To apply, visit the Cowes Fringe website or email mike@cowesfringe.com
