The Isle of Wight Council has issued advice following a cliff landfall at Yaverland on Saturday morning (July 11).

An Isle of Wight Council spokesperson said:

“A number of landfalls have occurred at Yaverland in recent years.
“The advice to residents and visitors is to exercise caution with walking around the Islands coastline.
"Especially to stay clear of the foot of cliffs, as these can be unstable at this time of year.
"Yellow warning signs are in place advising the public.”
