Classic Cars Bring Memories And Smiles To Vecta House Residents

Residents at a Newport care home enjoyed a nostalgic trip down memory lane as a collection of classic vehicles arrived for a special community event.

Vecta House Care Home hosted its annual Classic Car Show, welcoming residents, families and motoring enthusiasts for an afternoon celebrating vintage vehicles and shared memories.

The event featured a line-up of historic cars, including much-loved Morris Minors and iconic Jaguars, giving residents the chance to get up close to the vehicles and reminisce about their own motoring experiences.

Alongside the classic cars, visitors enjoyed entertainment including face painting from Tracy's Faces, a candy floss stall and live music from local singer Paolo, who performed a selection of classic songs.

The event was supported by members of the Vectis Historic Vehicle Club, who brought along their cars and volunteered their time to help create the afternoon for residents.
