Ventnor Fringe favourite Charlie Dore is back on the Isle of Wight this weekend, performing alongside Julian Littman of Steeleye Span at The Apollo Theatre in Newport.

The show takes place on Sunday 2 November 2025, with proceeds supporting Age UK Isle of Wight.

Charlie Dore’s career spans stage, screen, and music.

She’s appeared in repertory theatre, presented children’s TV including Rainbow, and acted in films such as The Ploughman’s Lunch alongside Jonathan Pryce.

Her songwriting has been recorded by stars including Tina Turner, George Harrison, Celine Dion, Martha Wainwright, Ricky Ross, and Paul Carrack.

At The Apollo, Charlie will perform songs from her latest collection, Songs for the Curious, which blends and reinterprets multiple musical styles.

Joining her is multi-instrumentalist Julian Littman, a long-standing member of Steeleye Span.

The evening also benefits older Island residents, with Age UK Isle of Wight volunteers on hand to offer support and information.
