CCTV Image Issued In Further Appeal Following Assault In Ryde

Officers investigating a serious assault in Ryde are releasing an image of a man they would like to speak to.


Between 2.15am and 2.20am on Sunday 1 June, a man was punched in Union Street in Ryde, causing him to fall and hit his head on the floor.


The victim, a man in his 20s from Cowes, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, but was later discharged.


​As part of our ongoing enquiries police are now issuing an image of a man we would like to speak to.


He is described as white, aged approximately 20-25 years old, about 5ft 9in tall, with short dark brown hair and a stubbly beard.


In this image he is seen wearing a multi-coloured patterned jacket, a white t-shirt with a dark design on the front, dark jeans and white trainers. He also appears to have a tattoo on his neck.
