Brave Island has announced the launch of a brand-new free Zine for 2026, created to give young Islanders aged 14–25 a fresh platform to showcase their creativity.

Young people across the Isle of Wight are invited to send in their work for the first issue, which will be printed in full colour on A5 pages.

Contributors can submit artwork, photography, poetry, articles, interviews – or anything else they feel inspired to share.

The theme for the debut edition is “Now or Never”, open to interpretation however contributors choose.

Whether it’s new beginnings, a call to action, or a pivotal moment, creators are encouraged to explore the idea in their own way.

The Zine will be published quarterly throughout 2026, with a free launch event planned at Ventnor Exchange – Brave Island’s HQ – on 31st January.

More information about the celebration will be released soon.

Submissions are open until 4th January.

To take part, simply complete the short form on the Brave Island website and upload your files.
