Boomtown has been named the UK's best-value music festival for 2026 in new research by digital bank Monzo.

The study compared ticket prices and line-ups at major UK festivals to work out the average cost per artist and per headliner.

According to the findings, Boomtown offered the lowest cost per performer at 83p, ahead of festivals including Creamfields, Truck Festival, Boardmasters and Kendal Calling.

Monzo said a five-day camping ticket for Boomtown costs £360 and gives access to 435 artists performing across more than 12 stages.

Chris Mucklow-Norell, Head of Brand Marketing at Monzo, said the research was designed to help music fans identify festivals that offer the best value for money.

He said:

"It's not always the biggest or most well-known festivals that offer the best value."

Boomtown will take place near Winchester from 12 to 16 August 2026.

Tickets for the festival have already sold out.
