Blackgang Chine Up For 5 UK Theme Park Awards

Blackgang Chine is calling on Islanders for support after being shortlisted for 5 prizes at the 2026 UK Theme Park Awards.
The attraction is nominated for Seaside Park of the Year, Best Landscaped Theme Park, Best Customer Service and Best Social Media Content, while Head of Marketing Laura Baxter is in the running for Theme Park Personality of the Year.
Blackgang is competing alongside some of the UK's biggest attractions, including Alton Towers, Paultons Park and Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
Park Manager Dan White said being shortlisted in 5 categories "means a lot" to the team and urged Islanders to get behind the attraction.
Public votes account for 50% of the final results, with the remainder decided by a panel of industry judges.
Voting closes on Friday, August 28, with the winners announced at Blackpool Pleasure Beach on September 10.
