Appeal After Teenager Assaulted In Wroxall

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted in Wroxall last week.
The incident happened on Clarence Road, Wroxall between 2.30pm and 3pm on Friday, 13 March.
A 16-year-old boy was reportedly attempting to cross the road when a man stopped his car, got out of the vehicle and began shouting aggressively before punching the boy on the right side of his face.
The teenager suffered a bruised jaw, a cut to his ear and a chipped tooth. He is now recovering at home.
Officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, including a man believed to have been driving a white Ford Fiesta who may be able to help with enquiries.
The suspect is described as white, aged between 25 and 35, under 6ft tall, with a slim to medium build and a beard.
