The Isle of Wight Council has apologised for delays to the delivery of its 2026/27 waste and recycling calendars, with some residents still waiting to receive the annual booklet.
The authority confirmed the calendars will be delivered by Royal Mail “in due course” and reassured households there are no changes to collection days for the coming year.
In a statement, the council said: “We apologise that there has been a delay with the delivery of your 2026/2027 waste calendar.
“Residents should note that there are NO changes to their collection days in 2026/27.
“Calendars will be delivered to all residents by Royal Mail in due course.”
Residents have been advised to check collection dates online via the council’s website while waiting for the printed version to arrive.
