Ability Dogs Gala Weekend Returns — Bigger, Better, and Still Easy to Get To!

Ability Dogs 4 Young People's announce annual Gala Weekend will return on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June, from 10am–4pm, at the charity’s Sandown Airport based training centre.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever — with more stalls,

entertainment, and opportunities to meet the incredible team, including dedicated

volunteers and the charity’s adorable puppies in training.

With free parking and free entry, it’s the perfect family-friendly event to pop in the diary

and make a go-to weekend plan.

The weekend forms the biggest event the charity hosts on Island soil each year.

Funds raised all go towards meeting the commitment the charity has made to the Island community — supporting disabled people as they navigate a range of physical and

mental health challenges.

The charity’s mission is to provide ability dog support through a range of supportive programmes for people across the Island, without them taking on the financial

pressures that having a dog can entail.

To achieve this, its specialist team of staff, trainers, and volunteers work tirelessly to meet the growing list of people in need.
