Dinosaur Isle Museum has announced a summer programme packed with fossil handling, science activities and expert talks for families visiting Sandown during the school holidays.

Dinosaurs, fossils and beach adventures — Dinosaur Isle is bringing the Island’s prehistoric past to life this May half term.

Dinosaur Isle Museum reopens its doors tomorrow after a hefty refurbishment.

The museum is currently completing upgrades to its roof and visitor spaces, funded by a £498,000 grant from Arts Council England and £180,000 from Isle of Wight Council.
