Isle of Wight West MP Richard Quigley is calling on retailers to stop selling disposable BBQs and sky lanterns while drought conditions remain — with Tesco already removing disposable BBQs from its shelves.

The Isle of Wight Council is continuing to explore possible restrictions on disposable barbecues, sky lanterns and balloon releases following recent wildfire concerns.
