A woman has been injured after being assaulted at a property in Shanklin.
Police were called to an address in Atherley Road, between 9.30pm and 10.30pm last night (Monday).
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said that a woman in her 40s sustained head and leg injuries during the incident.
A 32-year-old woman from Shanklin has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in custody at this time.
