And... we're off! Round the Island is back for another year, and more than a thousand vessels are taking part.
Boats started departing Cowes at around 6.30am and are currently making their way around the Island.

Run by the Island Sailing Club, the 2021 event marks the 90th anniversary of the race.
Renowned sailor and Helly Hansen Ambassador Pip Hare fired cannons from the Royal Yacht Squadron to kick the race off.
