Police on the Isle of Wight have arrested a male who tried to evade by police by entering the sea.
Officers were called - alongside The Needles Coastguard Rescue Team and Cowes RNLI - to Thorness Bay at 6.20am this morning (Friday).
Police say that a male decided to enter the sea in a bid to avoid capture.
However, police and HM Coastguard said things took a swift turn when he was scared out of the water by a large fish and into custody.
