Scaled Down Handmade Version Of Isle Of Wight's Pepperpot Goes On Sale

An adorable handmade, scaled-down version of Britain's only surviving medieval Lighthouse has gone on sale.

Craig Parks has created a mini version of the St Catherine' Oratory, also known as the Pepperpot.

He says he felt inspired to create the version of approx 1/25, measuring 32 X 21 X 8cm.

Posting on social media Craig said:

'Each plaster cast is painstakingly painted using high-pigment acrylics to give an appearance as true to the original as possible. Meticulous attention to detail ensures this piece is outstanding in every way.

'Each cast will be numbered, with a limited run of 800 pieces in total. You will receive with your purchase a certificate printed on parchment with a wax seal detailing the history of the Pepperpot and signed by the artist. Handmade on the Isle of Wight.'

It has gone on sale on Facebook Marketplace.
