Ryde Castle Boards Removed Ready For Reopening

The boards covering the windows and doors of Ryde Castle have been removed, paving the way for the well-loved Island venues reopening when Government restrictions lift.

Pubs and restaurants have been closed since the start of the pandemic, but as Government restrictions begin to lift, venues across the Isle of Wight are preparing to welcome back customers - although it may still be some time away.

The earliest that hospitality sector businesses can reopen to the public is July 4, although the Government is still yet to publish the final date and guidance.

Ryde Castle General Manager Sean Vernall said:

“We’re well underway with our plans for reopening the pub, and on behalf of myself and the team at Ryde Castle, we look forward to welcoming all of our guests again as soon as it’s safe to do so.”
